Do you want to
feel your best? Do you have problems with seasonal
allergies, asthma, rashes, earaches, migraines, cramps,
tension, arthritis, hepatitis, gout, high blood pressure,
or recurrent colds? During a personal consultation I
take the
time to review your health history and concerns, explain
how
your body works and what it needs, and recommend herbal
allies, supplements, dietary and lifestyle changes.
By understanding how your body works, you can choose
to feel better every day!
Before your appointment,
I will review your intake form and other information
provided. During the appointment I ask you
lots of questions and examine your areas of concern.
Then I prepare a formula specifically for you (tea blends,
tinctures, salves, etc.) to address your concerns, and
discuss any other recommendations.
I am happy to introduce
you to the plants if they are growing here, or
refer you to books that contain pictures and information
about the plants in your remedies. A follow-up
visit is usually scheduled within a week or two, though
you
are welcome to call anytime.

Deb Lukas has been
selling her herbal
products since 1987,
and has studied with
herbalists Jane
Bothwell, Adam
Seller, Christopher Hobbs
and Michael Moore. She completed three years of clinical
herbal studies at Dominion Herbal College in Vancouver
BC, with more than 400 supervised clinical hours.
You may find her in the garden with the
chickens, playing with her nephew, grinding herbs in
the pharmacy, preparing remedies, leading an herb walk,
organizing a workshop on sustainable living, teaching
how to take blood pressure, reading an old herbal, cracking
acorns, making pesto, writing papers, or staring blankly
at the computer screen! It's a good life!
Deb is not a licensed medical practitioner,
as herbalists cannot be licensed in the United States!
She considers herself to be a holistic western herbal
consultant, and a student
of medicine. You, ultimately, are responsible for your
health and decisions.
